Project Background

As a typical heavy industrial manufacturing site, the production workshop of Zhejiang High & Medium Pressure Valve Co., Ltd. faces severe challenges during summer, including high temperatures, stifling heat, and inadequate air circulation. The dense concentration of large machinery and equipment, coupled with heat-generating processes such as welding and heat treatment, results in significant thermal buildup. The workshop’s high-ceilinged structure further complicates effective temperature control through conventional ventilation methods, adversely affecting both worker productivity and equipment stability. To enhance the working environment and boost production efficiency, Nantong Yueneng Energy Saving Purification Equipment Co., Ltd. leveraged its extensive expertise in industrial ventilation and cooling to design a customized, high-efficiency, energy-saving, and stable cooling fan system. Integrated with the existing industrial ceiling fan system, this solution achieves dual effects of “three-dimensional cooling” and “comprehensive ventilation.”



Design Approach

The core design philosophy of this solution is “vertical coordination and three-dimensional circulation.” By fully utilizing the workshop’s existing industrial ceiling fan system and synergizing it with 30 newly installed Industrial air cooler, a multi-dimensional ventilation and cooling system is established, characterized by “cool air supply from fans + air agitation by ceiling fans + negative-pressure air exchange.”  

Industrial air cooler Layout: 30 pcs Industrial air cooler fans are installed at the workshop ceiling, utilizing air ducts to distribute cool air rapidly and lower the ambient temperature.  

Synergy with Industrial Ceiling Fans: The existing industrial air cooler fans evenly circulate the cool air delivered by the cooling fans, promoting top-to-bottom air movement to prevent cold air accumulation at the ceiling and ensuring uniform temperature distribution across the workshop.  

Ventilation and Air Exchange: The air cooler fans continuously introduce fresh outdoor air, which is cooled via wet curtains before being supplied into the workshop. Simultaneously, hot and stagnant air is expelled through doors, windows, or exhaust outlets, creating a positive-pressure air supply and negative-pressure exhaust cycle that effectively improves air quality.  


Equipment Selection and Advantages

The selected cooling fans are high-efficiency, energy-saving models independently developed by Nantong Yueneng, offering the following key advantages:

High Air Volume, Strong Cooling Capacity: Each unit delivers an air volume of 30,000 m³/h, with a temperature reduction range of 5–12°C, rapidly dissipating workshop heat.

Energy Efficiency: With a power consumption of 3 kW per unit (90 kW total for 30 units), the system achieves over 80% energy savings compared to traditional air conditioning, significantly reducing operational costs.

Durability and Stability: Equipped with high-quality cooling pads and anti-corrosion fans, the units are designed to withstand dusty and high-temperature environments, ensuring long service life.

Intelligent Control: Features such as timing, speed adjustment, and remote control enable automatic operation adjustments based on workshop temperature, facilitating smart management.



Implementation Results

Post-implementation, the workshop environment has improved markedly. Temperature reductions of 5–10°C have been achieved in high-heat areas such as welding and assembly zones, with the overall workshop temperature maintained at an average of 30°C—within the human comfort range. The synergistic operation of industrial ceiling fans and air cooler fans has increased air circulation efficiency by over 50%, eliminating stuffiness and significantly enhancing worker comfort. Production efficiency has risen by approximately 15%. Additionally, the continuous air exchange function of the air cooler fans has effectively reduced dust concentration and improved air quality, creating a healthier working environment for employees.
